Right - because you're in a better position to dictate where their priorities should lay.

All week I've been on the Euro servers while ANet/NCSoft tries to get one of their peers to fix a major routing issue. In Embark beach, on Euro/English, I've not yet seen more than 4-5 other people there with me. Today I log in, and they had to have more than one district open... and mine was swamped. Still Euro/English.

Players know it's April Fools' Day... they know ANet always comes up with something... so they SHOW UP looking for it. If ANet had done nothing for today, many many MANY people would bitch. A lot more than are doing what you're doing - whining because they aren't doing things YOUR way on YOUR timeline to YOUR satisfaction.

Their priorities are right on track - pleasing the majority, and from the comments, they've done so in stellar fashion.

I don't really care for the whole military commando-esque thing in my gaming choices, but I'm still playing the content and laughing over the skill videos and the developer notes... it injected a little humor into my day, and that's always appreciated.

Now all we need is a new BBQ skill for the elementalist... "Does 80..100...150 fire damage against any Big Chicken. End effect: Causes basting for 5...10...15 seconds."

It seems to me that the quest reward needs a nerf. 4 hour 0 -> Max Vanguard anyone?

I've missed the last couple years of April Fools. So to experience this one is really great. I also enjoy the Terminator references since T1 & T2 are favorite movies. Now all we need is an Aliens movie plot tie-in

I don't know, Corporal Bane -- Christian Bale? Does that count?

Got a bit of extra cartography done in the bottom right of regent valley o.O

Turned black, like the glitch in factions.

Edit: Bottom left, too, significantly more.

And why is that bad? Are you not getting your money's worth otherwise? They're giving us a bunch of free content in the form of Guild Wars Beyond. Even if they never had any of these content updates, I would've still been happy with the game. In fact, even without Guild Wars Beyond, people would still be bitching about this update because it took resources away from GW2 or some nonsense.

I hear you. I only play GW at home now on a desk top. I used to lug a laptop to work with me prior to that, but it died. So I'm losing precious time now dammit!! All I can do tonight is surf the net or play Fable on the 360.

ANET might be onto something here. A modern day RPG.....we'll call it CLAN WARS!!

Corporal Bane get to dee choppah!!
